Everyone has imagined the worst that could happen…
I decided to animate it.
Loosely inspired by my university's beloved art building, this animatic follows what should have been an ordinary trip to an old classroom. One ordinary elevator ride is all it takes to turn a harmless "what if?" into a terrible nightmare!

Beatrix Potter
I remember when my mom used to read me about a cute little rabbit named Peter. Though I didn’t know it at the time, the illustrations drew me in (no pun intendedddd). Naturally, I just HAD TO try out this delicate style by Beatrix Potter.
When replicating this piece, I fell in LOVE with her art nouveau-esque sweeping lines and intricate line variations.
Who wouldn’t?
Color Palettes Study
Experimenting with Anna Daviscourt’s color palettes was an absolute dream! My goal was to see how close I could get to matching her colors and overall aesthetic.
Taking two reference artworks by Anna, I analyzed the hues she used and applied them to an original illustrative composition. I ended up taking some creative liberties by choosing to emphasize some of my personal favorite colors. Overall, I think we hit the mark!
